Did you know that rural areas of the Tennessee Valley have a larger percentage of senior residents than urban areas?  By taking healthcare to seniors living in these areas, CAN is reducing the demand placed on rural healthcare services and decreasing the need for costly office visits.

The lack of prenatal care contributes to lifelong issues for both children and parents.  In this case, an “ounce of prevention” is certainly worth a “pound of cure”.  CAN is enhancing access formothers to prenatal care and educating them on how to avoid some of the greatest threats to their babies.
